Tommy x Zendaya Fall Collection was everything we needed

Where do I start? I have so many things to talk about the Tommy x Zendaya fashion show that happened this Monday at the NYFW that I don't even know where to start. I'll try and start from the beginning.
Zendaya, the fashion icon (and also an actress) partnered with Tommy Hilfiger to create two capsule collections this year. The first collection, Summer/Spring 2019 was launched at the Paris Fashion Week earlier this year and the second one, Fall/Winter 2019 was launched this week. The first collection was totally inspired by the 70's. Lots of jumpsuits, glitter, sequins, flowing dresses and suits. It was the first collection ever done by Zendaya and she did it beautifully. The fashion show itself was super fun and diverse, with older, plus-size and black models as the majority of the models. The critic responded positively to the collection and we couldn't wait for the second one. Personally, I absolutely loved the collection. I'm a huge 70's fan and I think they created sophisticated and glamorous outfits that were still fun and funky, just like the 70's.
The show took place at the Apollo Theatre, Harlem, and had a fun atmosphere, with a live band playing and people 'dancing in the street'. They build the runway in a way to make it seem as the models were walking along the street. Personally I felt cuban/latin vibes with the music and scenario, which I loved. All of the garments were made in Italy with fine fabrics such as velvet and silk and all of the details were hand-made.
There was a mix of women suits, dresses, skirts and jumpsuits with bold prints, polka dots and lot of sparkle: sparkling fabrics, shiny pebbles embedded in the clothes and sequins. This collection and show itself was everything we didn't know we needed. Once again I need to point the representativeness of black, curvy and elderly women is so important in a big fashion show like this one. Zendaya made sure she included all types of women because we want to be represented! And what makes me happy is that they were the majority of the models. I can easily say 90% of the models were diverse women and this is huge and so necessary.
The other thing I absolutely loved is the entertainment this show provided us. It gave me 90's Thierry Mugler vibes, when the models would act a little bit as actresses and have lots of fun on the runway, feeling the music and creating a performance that we couldn't take our eyes off. TommyxZendaya fashion show entertained us from the start to the end and made us feel like dancing with the models, live band and actors dancing in the background.
I'm just so happy with this partnership and I really hope Zendaya starts her own fashion label because it would be just A-M-A-Z-I-N-G.
This is the best fashion show of the New York Fashion Week for me because it was the only one that challenged the fashion industry so far and this is what I expect from fashion: inclusion.
In the other hand, there's one negative aspect I'd like to point out: the use of leather. I'm totally against the use of animals in any fashion items because it's not ethical and so retrograde. Come on Zendaya, you can do better than this!!!
Ok but now let's talk about MONEY. The prices are pretty good and I'm shocked they're not as expensive as I would've thought. Well, I guess it is expensive if we think about Tommy Hilfiger average prices but OMG it's so worth it. The prices are roughly between $100-900 and the most expensive items are the coats and jackets.You can buy the collection online here.
The New York Fashion week is still going on and I'm ready to see if other collections will show the same audacity as this one.
